  • I used to be a more do it myself person, but as time goes on, I find I have less time and desire to do some home projects. I did just install a new dishwasher, but next time we need to replace a floor, it's getting hired out.
  • I try to do everything I can for myself, including building one of the houses I've lived in, when the only thing I got professionals in for was the roof tiling. I always have my car serviced and repaired at a garage, though.
  • I do all the decorating but my husband hates DIY so if anything needs doing we get a little man in,in fact we had a little man in tonight putting a curtain rail up in the bedroom.
  • Well, I'm straight, so when I'm not doing it myself I like to have a woman in. As far as stuff around the house, I do almost all of it myself unless it's too technical or dangerous or requires code inspections.

  • We are beyond DIYers. We are our own construction crew. Th etwo of us are building our own house. My husband and I are doing everything. The few times we ahve tried getting in people to help have been disastrous. The only real help we've had was his grand-nephew helped shingle the really steep pitched part of the roof. I just couldn't do that. 12 in 1 is too stepp for me.
  • who needs men? I'm hands on!
  • I try and do it my self. And i think i misread the question at first, but i got it very quickly afterwards. my mind must have been in the gutter.
  • I'm a DIY person -- if I don't know how to do something and my bf does, I get him to show me and then do it myself. Unless it's something boring and I'm lazy. :P
