The answer is definitely yes, even though they might be the sole breadwinner in the household. =)

Yes, everyone who lives in a household should help. If one person stays at home and one goes to work, then perhaps the one at home should take the most responsibility for the household, but all should help out in a fair and balanced way.
-
Yes everyone in the house should help with the chores.

my husband offers his help with the laundry which i appreciate. the dishes are mine, the cats are mine and if he should ever lend a hand it would be welcome but not expected since hubby enjoys cooking he will do that and I consider that helping with a "chore"

When you are done the floors can you get me a beer?

Yes definately.

Of course men should be expected to do a reasonable amount of housework unless the couple mutually agrees that he should not have to. My dad does more housework than my mom, even though he is the one that is the breadwinner. If he can do it, why can't other men?
-
I think they should, only if the wife works as well, or if he isn't doing anything better, OR if the wife is ill. I say help when you can.
-
Help? It's his house too, is it not? That's like the concept of a man babysitting his own children.
-
