It's called FastPass, but you don't actually skip to the front of the line. They way it works is, you go to the attraction and insert your park ticket into the FastPass machine. It gives you a second ticket indicating the time window in which you can return to enter the FastPass line. For instance, if you insert your ticket at 10:00 a.m. you may get a FastPass ticket that has a 12:15 - 1:15 return time. When you return at the appropriate time, you get to take the FastPass line which is deinfitely faster but still a line. Sometimes it pays to use FastPass, sometimes it doesn't make a huge difference.
