I mostly post questions to find out what other people think about a certain subject. I rarely ask direct knowledge questions.
-
Insight - some have been for fun
-
60% to gain insight into people and life. 40% for facts and general knowledge.
-
I would have to say neither. I try to post something that is a little unusual or not mainstream and hope that it will catch on here and be the talk of the AB watercooler. I have'nt had any luck though.
-
I only tend to ask questions about specific knowledge. Never for insight.
-
I try to find unusual general knowledge questions that could be interesting to answer. I rarely ask to get a personal advice, more to get an idea what other people points of view are. But some answers of either kind of questions give me often great insights for my life, I just have to be open for them.
-
Both, but lately more for general knowledge.
-
90% would be to have an opinion about what others think.-----almost like chatting with a gang of good friends 10% would be for fun----when the mind suddenly gets into the drunk mood

When I came upon the answerbag site I felt I finally found people to ask questions to who I feel for most part give me great advice or make me think about how to handle my situation. My relationship questions that were answered were very helpful and for most part people were telling me what I already knew i needed to do, but finally i don't feel wrong or selfish about how I feel because complete strangers see what I see. that in itself is a treasure and certainly makes me feel like I am not crazy. thanks to all of you, I really love this site, and will continue to ask and give what ever I can..It keeps me sane :)

Insight. I discovered most people on here posted questions to get points, and I guess if you're getting responses, that's what the website owner wants. More hits means more ads but it dilutes the content to have a bunch of stupid questions. Oh well, better jump on the bandwagon. (BTW I found this out yesterday when I saw somebody had like, 1300 points in a day, so I looked, and he'd asked a bunch of meaningless questions).
-
Both. It depends very much on the mood I'm in at the moment. I've asked some questions dealing with specific stuff that I couldn't find the answer anywhere else. Other times I like to know people's opinion on various themes and possibly get feedback on comments. After a quick peek I've noticed my main subjects when asking questions are: Music, Pondering time and Crazy thoughts.

I find that I am here for both. Both intrigue me.
