Absolutely. I always thought it would be a good idea, and then I found, a few years ago, a website that was all about how to do it, a very serious website, too, not some joke site. It had instructions, and photos and a gallery showing women peeing at urinals all over the world. It explained how you could practice and yes, I did, and got pretty good at it. You can practice in the shower. It takes a lot of practice to aim just right but I got quite good at it and could thus avoid all those nasty toilet seats and outhouse situations where sitting is a major problem. And I would add that my AIM was much better than most men's.

Of course, they can pee standing, sitting, lying down, dancing, swimming any thing you can think of practically. Now, they may not make the toilet but they can still pee.

Yes, I pee standing up all the time. I have a house of 4 boys & my husband & I was fruatrated with always falling into the toilet when they didn't put the seat down. Also, it is quicker for me. I learned how on a website. I practiced in the shower. I have a little girl who is 7 yrs old & would like to show her as well. You just have to know your anatomy down there. I love going into public restrooms now & not having to put t.p. down on the seat or squatting in an uncomfortable posistion. I just pull my pants down lean over the bowl a bit & pee. I was out with my girl friends for dinner one night, and we used the bathroom. One of my friends was in the next stall & she heard me peeing & said, "Gee sounds as if you are a guy standing with that stream!" I came out of the stall & told her that I stand & she laughed, thinking I was lying. I had to convince her. After a few months, she was over at my house & brought up the subject again & asked me to show her. She came in the bathroom w/me next time I peed & was amazed. She is now standing too when she pees. It's great!

I can't believe I only just found this question - for years I've been doing this and I thought I was unique! Well it can be a real problem. My wife pees while standing - BUT SHE WON'T LIFT THE SEAT - so if I go for a crap I end up sitting in a puddle of her pee!! How do I get her to lift the seat before she does it . . . without offending her?

yeah...not in the same way that men can, but they can stand over the toilet and pee...it's not as clean as when men do, but women can...

I pee standing up most of the time! I had 4 brothers at home, we only had one bathroom! We had to take our turn to potty all the time. Some times I'm the last one and I end up having to go badly and nearly pee into my pants, trying to pull down pants/panties to sitting position! I learned on my own. I found all I had to do is pull pants/panties down, spread legs some, lean over toilet bowl, then pee. Sometimes I've notice I do not need to wipe after I'm done, seems like when I pee standing my labia is more spread open! I even peed into urinals as well! Instructions-- 1. Wash or wipe your hands clean with a moist towellette. 2. Adjust clothing. Pants should be pulled down in front a few inches. Skirts should be lifted. Underwear should be pulled down at the waistband or move the fabric at the crotch to one side. 3. Using either hand, make a “V” with your first and second finger and spread the inside of your labia minora. (the INNER lips) Beginners may want to try using the fingers from both hands for better control. Lift to the desired angle, If you don’t spread and lift, it could run down your leg. 4. THEN PEE. 5. Wipe your labia if necessary. 6. Wash your hands and you’re done!

yes we can. But there are disadvantages of us women doing it. First it very messy because women's vagina cannot aim at proper direction (like a man's penis)so spills and it gets very messy. Also, it more healthy for women pee sitting down your bladder emptys more through and if squat down it even more throughly.
