Generally my apartment makes me feel the most comfortable, but I don't really know where I feel safe.

Ironically, I only feel safe in: a roudy bar, a dark alley, fighting a housefire, walking down a busy highway. I do not feel safe in my bed with the doors locked while sleeping. In the dangerous situations, I feel like I am alert and capable of avoiding harm. I feel that sleep is a betrayal of my security.
