Because the answer is not what the question was seeking.

They ask the questions to get confirmation that their opinion is the right one.

What frustrates me is when the asker clearly is only looking for answers that coincide with their own opinion. Some subjects are hard to receive offensive answer (unless the answer is jokingly or not meant to be serious), such as "why do people fall in love", that sort of question. It still amazes me that people become so aggravated and rude. I understand how that can be the case with questions that require FACTUAL answers, but open-ended questions and topics? C'mon people!

Because people are idiots and like to increase their ego to intergalactic proportions by finding similar people.

Because they are stupid. That is all.

I have never quite been able to figure that out...but the people who act like that I really don't have time for...it's sort up right up there with DR'ing someone because they have a different opinion...useless behaviour:)
-
Not always. Because sometimes, I just need to hear what I want to hear.

Oh yeah, but opinions can be like assholes..everyone has one and they all stink.. But not always..Occasionally I get opinions I like.. Like every 5th Tuesday when the moon comes over the mountain and the cup runs away with the spoon. ;)

No, because although I ask they can choose not to give it.
