  • If there are baby birds, there is not a whole lot you can do at this point to relocate them without harming them. However, once they have left the nest, I would advise you to cap the chimney with a fine mesh so that this doesn't happen again. You could try to locate a bird rehabilitator in your area for more advice if there is a pressing need to remove the birds; it would be helpful to be able to let the rehabber know what kind of bird it is that is nesting in your chimney.
