Is there a book that teaches guitar? I need to expand my repetoire of instruments.

    I'd recommend the 'complete player' books. I used them to self teach piano and pick up the basics of guitar. They have a good balance of theory and recognisable tunes, allowing you to practice songs you know early on.

    yes there is also a dvd just go to your local music store you can get both for 35-40 dollars
