Some years ago there was a one night TV event called "Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire". It was like a Miss America Pageant of women willing to marry a rich man who was choosing the winner. Wasn't that one of the worst TV show concepts ever?

Actually I thought it was funny that these women where sad enough to sell there souls for money, it had nothing to do with a romantic relationship, it had to do with ratings and marketing, they should have called the show "The Cattle Call". But I do agree with you, I don't care much for reality shows.

It was extremely idiotic, superficial and completely trashed the concept of marriage. However it had top viewership, not because people endorsed their point of view, but because it was a novelty, and basically - people will watch anything! I personally felt it was a show that pimped.

Yeah, the guy wasn't really a millionaire either, he was some businessman/stand up comedian. That woman that "married" the guy ended up being in Playboy magazine. Her name was Darva Conger and the goofball she married was Rick Somebodyorother.
