I think it should be a "big thing". I feel abortion is a very drastic choice. Many people want children and the are homes out there for them.

The ability to get an abortion is a big deal in America but the actual number of people getting them is declining. There are currently 1.3 million abortions performed each year in the United States. Almost everyone on both sides of this issue agree that that is way too many. You would be hard pressed to find a bigger issue here--maybe the war is bigger.
