Which store is better, Marshalls or TJ Maxx?

This is a very good question. I believe that the answer might change from store to store and from day to day. As Chosun One said, their merchandise is quite similar. My wife tells me that Ross is better than both of them.

Tj maxx because they sale ralph lauren. but ross sales tommy hilfiger for 19.99

I believe they are owned by the same parent company. I see duplicate items at both stores. I don't have a preference, they are both great. Bought some things at TJ Maxx today.

Both are run by the TJX corporation. I believe Marshalls has a larger variety and TJX is geared to a younger and female clientele.

I have never been to a TJ Maxx..but I've gotten some really fantastic deals at Marshalls..hard to believe that Marshalls can be beat..but I really don't know! :)

I like both but if I have to choose one it's TJ Maxx. I love their houseware.
