Yes, and Yes. It takes a while to start working - they advise three weeks, though I felt better after a week. It took a little fiddling to get the right dose for me, but I have been taking it for seven years now. With it I am reasonably normal, without it I am a depressed lump spoiling both my own and everybody else's lives. If you have been prescribed it, give it a fair try. That said, I know others for whom it has not worked.
I've been taking it for two years now, and I dont think it has any effect, other than the fact that if I stop taking it suddenly I feel incredibly sick and ill...I wish the doctors would change it, but they dont seem to be very keen on doing anything to help me.
my mum is taking it, and she said it has helped her a lot, however she did get a bit freaked when she couldn't cry.
Is Valeant Pharmaceuticals still making Limbitrol?
