One of my best friends husband has always called me Sid from the first day we met and the sad thing is i answer to it,my real name is Lysa and he wont tell my why he calls me it.

Crimedog (obviously). I got it from Boot Camp. Remember Crimedog Mcgruff? My last name is somewhat similar to Mcgruff and the other guys in Boot Camp gave me the nick. It is actually kinda fitting to me now because I am close to getting a Bachelors in Criminal Justice.

"Snake" ... I tranferred to a small machine shop in the same company, about ten guys, and everybody had a nickname. After I earned the trust of the group, a friend there said, "You've got to have a nickname. Lets see, what's the skinniest thing I can think of? (I was always very slender) They dropped my real name and everybody called me Snake, even after I went into management, years later. In fact, I was introduced as Snake to my new secretary when I went into management. You should have seen the look that I got from her! lol. Now, I don't work there anymore and nobody calls me Snake anymore, because my family never did use that nickname ... strangely.

My real Name is Faris people used to call me Farros or Abu-Alfawaris. Some of girls (specially my collage mates) like to call me Fof. and yes Chinese ppl used to call me Faiaas !!!! do not ask me why. but I think my name is very difficulty for Chinese ppl, isn't it ? Hehe :-) I like Chinese ppl Nihaaaaaaaaaaaaao
