    I don't cross my legs while sitting because I don't find it comfortable. People may consider it impolite because in the "rules" of body language, the crossing of arms and legs is considered putting a barrier between you and others and is considered a defensive position. Some people just find it comfortable. Some in the medical profession say it isn't good for circulation.
