  • have someone hold your arms with yours pointed downward and forward, theirs outside yours, push out as hard as you can for 1 minute. have them let go. you arms will rise involuntarily. same thing.
  • Perhaps more blood flow to your arms causes the buoyancy? You also are tired...and humans (excluding my husband and son for some reason) tend to be buoyant in water anyways so you may not be making your normal unnoticed effort to hold them down.
