  • As far as I have come to understand, all of the "groups" believe in The Force. I have heard Sith and Jedi mention The Force as well as Leia and Han, so I'm of the understanding that pretty much everyone in the SW series believes in The Force.
  • Jedi levels are Youngling, up to about age 13, Padawan, up to mid 20s while trainings with an experienced Jedi, or until they face the Jedi trials, after which they become called a Jedi Knight. The promotion to Jedi Master happened most commonly when they trained a padawan to Jedi Knight. It was also common for Padawans to call their own master 'Master', wether or not they were a Jedi Master or Jedi Knight. At the time of the movies, there were only two Sith, a Master and an Apprentice, such as The Emperor and Vader. There are other Force users known as Dark Jedi, who used the dark side but were not Sith, and also 'Gray' Jedi, who were members of the Jedi Order but had their own code, of whom Qui Gon Jinn was one. EDIT- Here are the links, I've changed parts of my original answer as it seems memory served me wrong, but that's the basics. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Jedi_ranks http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sith_ranks
