On a 1998 Ford Taurus, where to I find a location to access the Flywheel to lock it down while removing the crankshaft pulley. I need to remove the pulley in order to create clearance for the alternator removal. This is of course an in-vehicle repair!

This is usually not required. If you must, remove the starter to access the flywheel, it is located between the transmission and engine.
