more than a little.

A little sweater in the cold is ok - But other than that Yes Hi steel

I think so... Fluffy has a fur coat...What else does she need?
-
Not a little, very. I notice every picture I see of a dog in a sweater the dog looks absolutely humiliated, lol.
-
Just a little. I mean, I've seen dogs around in winter wearing coats, boots, scarfs. Plus in summer, they were tight sandals and sunglasses. I don't think pets need that, maybe a blanket in the cold, but well, that's the owner's choice.

more than a little. I can understand a basic coat for little ones like terriers which are close to the ground and need to keep warm, but the lengths which people are going to is ridiculous. I deal with orphanages overseas and it appals me to think that dogs are dressed richly in western countries, and children have no decent clothing.

I think so. Why would you dress something accustomed to living free of garments?

i have a service dog and sometimes we are outside for hours during the winter waiting for buses. when she lays on cold concrete sidewalks in the snow i figure she might get a little cold. we have some vicous winds whipping around sometimes and these cold minnesota winters can take a toll on anyone or anything outside when the windchill is really bad. summertime, no, i don't usually put anything on my dog, but common sense prevails in winter. i think she likes being warm, she eagerly sticks her head into her sweaters and jackets, and prances along proud as can be wearing her outdoor gear.

From Friends: Ross: "What is Monica's pet peeve?" Joey: "Animals dressed as humans!" LOL! Just had to share that hilarious moment. I don't think it is disturbing. Pets are becoming suchan accessory. As long as it is not harmful to the pet, I think people should do what they want, even if it seems a little crazy!
