  • Yes, and that's why I don't call them friends anymore.
  • There is no such thing as a "friend" who only calls when they need something.
  • Yes - and then have to listen over and over again - My ringer on my phone is off - alot of the time because of that
  • In my experience people who do that aren't called friends, they're called sons.
  • most of my so called friends only call me if they want something,so i have got to the point were i dont help as i dont do that to them.
  • 'A friend in need is a pain in the bum'....... hmmm
  • YES! treat me like a person, not a tool
  • yes, I do. You might want to confront them if you want any closure. If the clam up and give you a stupid answer then they really don't care about the relationship the two of you have, but if they look genuinely upset by your question and are offended then they probably didn't mean to make you feel like they were using you. I'm in a similiar situation, however I know the person is shallow because they only seem to make time for me if I'm giving them money or something else materialistic, and when they come visit me to get them I make up some excuse as to why they can't get something I promised to them...the look on their face is classic when I see how they wasted gas and time to pretend to be my friend to get something....but going back to a positive note, confront your friend, and tell them how you feel...if they are a true friend it will stop it they aren't your going to get a vacant answer as to why they are so fake.
  • I don't consider those people "friends" and I really don't have anyone who only calls me when they need something anyway. I have this thing where I only give my # to people who I trust won't abuse the privilege of having it.
  • The ones who do that, aren't really your true friends.
  • hell yeah. lol
  • I don't keep them as friends ;)
