I like them room temperature, peeled, sliced into circles about 1/4" thick, and sprinkled with salt and pepper; sometimes a little vinegar too.

I like to eat cucumber on it's own or with something else, usually salad. In any capacity, I prefer it thinly sliced so I can taste its flavour more.

Slice them in 1/4" slices. Slice some red onions also. Marinate them in a mixture of white vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, and a dash of garlic powder. Shake every couple of hours if you can. Refrigerate over night, and then enjoy. Taste your vinegar mixture and adjust the sugar, salt and vinegar to your taste. You want a tangy, but sweet burst of flavor.

i love cucumber either on its own or with ham salad buties.

Peel a cucumber and cut length-wise. Scoop the seeds out of the middle. Mix some cream cheese and snapped dill and fill the middle of the cucumber, cut the filled cucumber into 2-3 inch sections.

When I was a kid I used to dip them into sugar. It tasted a lot like watermelon!
