ONLY the real men cry.

my hubby cries more than me lol.

Not that you have to stand at the town square to do that. There's nothing wrong doing it when done discreetly and for the right reason. Boo hoo...
-

Yes,of course,men are people too:)

if you consider yourself human, no matter what you do.. you won't hold yourself from crying.. everyone do cry..
-
yes real men cry.......only the cold unemotional men who supress there emotions dont. its natural males and females cry at birth why should it be different just cuz the numbers go up? its very refreshing to know a man who isnt worried about letting go
-
ALL men cry. The real ones aren't afraid for someone to see them crying. Crying is a natural human function. Of course, I wouldn't want my guy to cry all the time, but if he did cry all the time, I'm sure there would be a reason for it!
-
yes we cry, but i think our fathers,(mine at least) thought it was a sign of weakness so would not do it openly. I think this rubs off on the next generation, but is being broken down and more of us cry openly without feeling less of a man
-
I cry alot. Human men and women cry. Only the emotionaless, self centered, egomaniacs don't cry.
-
They do when u pull a nose hair
-
They don't? I have known plenty that have cried if something was upsetting enough to them.
-
Women do all the crying for them
-
Most men do cry but it happens very rarely and when they do they never want anyone to know about it.
-
I'm a sensitive kind of guy so I can't say that I don't cry.
-
Guys do cry... The ones who say they dont are liars or emotionally unstable. Crying is a natural thing done by humans and animals not just women lol!

I wish I could give an exact citation but, I remember reading about a study once where they put a baby in a room with one way mirrors on both sides of the room. The people watching from the left side was told the baby was a girl; the ones on the right was told the baby was a boy. They were asked to state what they would do based on the baby's behaviour. When the baby cried; the ones that thought it was a girl said pick it up and comfort it. The ones that thought it was a boy said the boy was "demanding attention" and should be ignored.
-
We do just usually not where you can see us.
-
I think that is a myth, men are human and when they are really hurting a lot, they cry. Maybe some don't, but in general, men do cry.
-
Men don't cry. They merely shed tears when their emotions are moved and influenced by any touching moments.
-
Clash of stereotype vs reality. men cry. stereotype lose.
-
men do cry, just not as often as women.. even when they do cry, they cry when alone...
-
They do everyday...most don't show it...and never talk about it......

I'm 65 years old. I've been in the US Army ( in one form or another ) for over 34 years. I am an accomplished marksman and killed at least 6 men in Vietnam, probably more. I raised five children, have 11 grandchildren, and have broken more bones in my body from parachuting accidents and motorcycle accidents and bicycling accidents than you can shake a stick at. I ride a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, have a concealed weapons permit, and have incurable cancer. And I often cry for both good reasons and bad ones.

It has to do with the hormones. The defining hormone of manhood is testosterone. This hormone tends to suppress outpouring of emotions to the extreme of crying. You will find the evidence of this in pre-puberty male children. Their glands do not produce enough of testosterone. So they cry in varying degrees. You will also see evidence in men who have had their testicles removed surgically for medical reasons such as prostate cancer. They tend to cry. Also there are women who have an inverse ratio of hormones estrogen:testosterone in their bodies. They tend to get very much less emotional and avoid crying atleast in public view.
-
No. I'm a man and I don't cry. There are some men who do cry, but real men don't cry.
-
I consider myself a REAL MAN... but When OLD YELLER Died I cried like a little baby.
-
I think so. For instance I saw footage of English rugby captain Lawrence Dellaligo (sp?) not so long ago crying on the pitch after an emotional match, and as a six foot plus mountain of muscle I think he fits the criteria of real man. As long as they aren't doing it every second day or for trivial reasons then there's nothing wrong with it.
-
Yes, but not real tears.
-
A friend or parent dies, some sort of dramatic victory. I'd say yes, they can cry.
-
crying s da most innocent expression which da living beings have. yes real man will cry!!!
-
Only if his dog dies. Nah, a man can cry any time he feels like crying; however someone wants to express their feelings, it's their feelings, and how to express them is their choice and their alone, be them man or woman, it is no different. If a woman can cry, why shouldn't a man be able to? I'm a "man" and I cry to myself whenever I feel like it, haven't ever been in a public situation that called for it, but if I trusted the people, I would in that place too.
-
Yes, an there's nothing wrong with it IMO.
-
Yes :)
-
Only real men cry. I am a man, I cry, and all that means is that I am a caring person with emotion, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that!
-
thatss the whole point of being real lolz
-
A man who is not afraid to cry is more of a man than the one who tries to hide his sadness.
