According to an article published on August 9, 2003 in the WEEKEND AUSTRALIAN newspaper, the nervous system cannot be transplanted at this time. Randall Faull, President of the Transplantation Society of Australia and New Zealand, admitted that "the whole nervous system is beyond the current technology."

The panvcreas cannot be transplanted either.

It is a very tough organ to try and fix, I am not surprised that it didn't take.
