  • You may as well just take him to the vet right now. It sounds pretty bad.
  • NO GO TO A VET, if it's after hours you should find an emergency vet
  • get his fluids up, make sure he driks plety of water to try and flush his system and then high tail him to the vets by the sounds of it he wont last long without real help
  • just keep on loving him and rush him to the vet.
  • This dog may die if you do or don't go to the vet, something is horribly wrong with him, unless he has been in a fight and received a nic/bite to his sheath that is making it seem like the blood is in his urine. I understand money challenges, painfully well. However, you decided to get the dog and like your children, it is a living creature that you NOW have responsibility for. Tell the Vet you will need to make payments and tell them exactly how much you WILL PAY AND WHAT DATES OR DATE EVERY MONTH YOU WILL MAKE THE PAYMENT AND DO SO ON TIME....pick an amount to pay that you KNOW you can afford, if you can pay more (and be sure you tell your vet this) then pay more but at least make the minimum agreed amount. This dog requires either IMMEDIATE TREATMENT or YOU NEED TO AT THE LEAST, FIND OUT WHAT IS WRONG, IF THE DOG IS SUFFERING AND IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD AT ALL TO HAVE IT TREATED...HAVE IT PUT DOWN. NO ANIMAL DESERVES TO SUFFER BECAUSE WE LACK FUNDS TO TREAT A DEBILITATING ILLNESS...that is the wrong mentality...that is abuse, according to the courts, the ASPCA and pretty much every other animal group "out there." I hope with all my heart that it is a simple, easy to fix problem that he can recover from and that you can afford to address, but you CANNOT keep an animal that is deathly ill when you cannot afford to care for it. I am so sorry you are even in such a position to have to worry and I imagine you are heart broken and tired of struggling. YOU are not a BAD PERSON...but you do have to make the RIGHT, and possibly TOUGH decision here.
  • Make taking him to the vet your number one priority. The blood loss can kill him in a very short time, as can toxins in the blood if there is renal failure.
  • Yes, call a vet and tell them your situation maybe they will let you make payments.
  • You know what, there are vets who will make house calls - look online and in your phone book. Also, just call a regular vet and tell them your situation, they may be willing to come to your home.
