I would feel sad and lost if any partner dies

I would feel sad for her and for her family and friends. Even though I am divorced, doesn't mean I hate her.

It would depend on the circumstances surrounding the divorce. Was it amicable? Was it ugly? Reactions differ greatly depending on the individual situation. I would think that even after an ugly divorce there would be some lingering feelings that would make one somewhat sad if their ex died.

Well, if my partner found someone else and divorced me and then died, I would be kind of upset. If I just hung on a little longer I could have saved the money that went to the lawyer and got the life insurance payout. Darn. Talk about bad timing.
