in one year i had 4 therapists and a psychiatrist quit. then i stopped going. since part of my problem was dealing with fear of abandonment i didn't think it was helping. the fact that i was constantly having to start from square 1 wasn't helping either. i have known some people that have had success with therapy, i'm just not one of them.

Therapy always makes me feel worse. The best things to make ME feel better are playing PAINTBALL, SURFING, and or a MASSAGE. ^_^

I dread going to therapy. I don't sleep the night before. By the end of the session I'm physically and emotionally exhausted. This is my second bout of therapy, with the same therapist. I'm told I saw her weekly for 5 months in 2005, but I have completely dissociated that period. Somehow, I don't think it's working for me, and it certainly doesn't make me feel better.

It is normal to feel worse after therapy because your bringing up issues that might be difficult to talk about. I had this problem initially but after a while I actually started seeing benefits.
