Just the meaning you apply to the tattoo itself.

I don't know that there's a meaning behind having a tattoo there, but alot of people refer to it as a "tramp stamp".

One of the stereotypes that really pisses me off is the so called “tramp stamp.” Now I am a woman and I have tattoos but I didn’t get mine until I was 50 and no I didn’t get any on my lower back. I detest the notion though that just because a young, cute woman gets a tattoo on the lower part of her back, that it instantly means that she is advertising that she wants, is asking for, sex. She has every right to get this tattoo, just as every man has every right to place a tattoo anywhere he so chooses on his body without the sexist judgment. Now three guesses which sex probably came up with this stereotype? It is wrong and shame on the women that agree with it. Unless the tattoo blatantly states something obviously sexual, don’t read something into it. These are examples of tattoos that fit these women perfectly and are extremely well done. Under no circumstances could they be considered “tramp stamps” and for people that are in the tattoo community to perpetuate this kind of misconception and stereotyping is wrong and just continues the stigmas that are attached to tattoos that we try and fight. One is obvious it is a Phinix Rising the other is two dragons battling, not sure of the symbolism of that one but neither one is "come her baby and *uck-me"

There is no meaning behind it at all. Yes, it's called a tramp stamp because it is placed on the lower back and when the girl wears a shirt that is a little short it peeks out. It's called that because it's a tease, but it doesn't "mean" anything.

I have a tattoo on my lower back. The only meaning behind it, other than the significance of the subject itself is that I wanted my tattoo somewhere that I could cover it when I wanted it covered and have it be seen when I wanted it to be seen, ie. wearing lower cut jeans that cover everything that modesty affords, yet still show a glimpse of my tattoo. I teach high school and none of my students know I have a tattoo so the modesty thing is working just fine.

I've heard many people refer to it as the "Tramp Stamp". I don't think there's any meaning to it, however.
-
It's probably in an area that will be less prone to stretching and sagging with age and/or maternity.

my teacher has a tramp stamp, if you want to call it that and she just about turns on every guy in my class she is young and like said before it is a tease
