It is so hard for me to choose a single novel as my favorite from this man who I believe to be the greatest living author. His prose is infused with poetry and his novels ask the difficult questions, while underscoring the power of the human spirit. I just purchased his most recent (The Good Guy) and am relishing the thought of opening it tonight!
