The question before it was moderated asked if one of the liquids in a lava lamp could be replaced: You can make a lava lamp from a variety of pairs of chemicals, typically paraffin and additives and paraffin wax, but they have to be closely matched in density. You can however, (taking all safety precautions), replace both substances, and there is an excellent web-site on the subject at http://www.lavalamp.de EDIT: Hey psychotikid: your rating's too subjective - can you explain what you would like to know?
