why does 150lbs of lead feel heavier than a 150lb person?

    if your question was based on the actual experience of lifting both, then your experiment was flawed...a 150 lb person (providing they are unconscious) is FAR more difficult to move around due to the "drag" effect of lifeless limbs and such. You simply can't find a "centered" point that you can lift that will keep the weight distributed evenly, and instead, flop around.

    Because it's more awkward to carry a human, where a lead ball is consolidated and most likely smaller.
