  • Most standard VCR's have both composite and RF inputs and outputs will be able to work under the following guidelines: The VCR has composite video INPUTS which will be yellow, white, and red or simply yellow and white. You will connect your PS2 to these jacks. You can identify these jacks by looking for the word VIDEO IN or INPUT. Secondly connect a coaxial cable between your VCR and TV. Your TV should only have one input that either says, CABLE IN or it may say, ANT or ANTENNA. The other end of this coaxial cable will connect to the VCR on the connection that is labeled RF OUT or OUT TO TV or something to that effect. The connection is a screw-on type of jack that is similar to the one on the back of the TV set. After your connections are made, turn on your PS2, your TV and your VCR. Tune your TV to channel 3, tune the channel selector on your VCR to VIDEO or LINE IN or VIDEO INPUT or something with a similar wording. If you do not see a picture, check behind the VCR to determine if there is a small switch that allows the VCR to transmit the signal to the TV on channel 3 or 4. Also check the labeling on the VCR to determine if the plugs from the PS2 are in the correct jacks on the VCR. Some VCR's have multiple inputs in the front and rear so if you are not successful with the rear inputs try the front inputs or vice versa.
  • I have a PS2, a Wii, and a VCR, how do I connect all in sequence to my tv?
  • If you have a PS-1 you can use the cable hook up for it to hook to your PS 2 to your tv.
  • Yes this is one of my favourtie things in technology ever first u must take your vcr/dvd player rite and put the ps2's red yellow and white wires in the front then use the rf cable (tht white cable from the dollarstore tht hooks your rca tv to your cable) and connect it to your tv and the back of the vcr/dvd player then press the vcr button and find the rite channel usually channel 3 and it should say video 2 and youve succesfully hooked your ps2 to your tv. Hope i helped
