The sinking city of Venice sits on a shallow lagoon.

The Grand canal is about 10 ft deep and has 3 bridges.
There are about 400 small bridges on this beautiful
island paradise which serve as a crossing point for
150 canals, most of which are knee deep or less.

The canal grande is the deepest. All the others
are surprisingly shallow. During flood time " Aqua Alta",
the streets of Venice have up to an extra 3 ft of water.

With global warming and rising Adriatic tides future generations
may not be able to enjoy the beauty of this incredible place.

My experience in Venice was magical.
There's no other place on earth quite like Venice!

Not to worry, Venice will always remain since Global Warming is a hoax.
