  • Zipper trauma. Waaaaay too long....
  • I once got a huge cut on my knee in the middle of the night while I was sleeping- I'm pretty sure something bit me but I had no idea what. It lasted for about two, maybe three weeks. Got pretty infected and ended up having to go to the emergancy room. Was not very fun, but I have a pretty neat battle scar that I got to show off to everybody at school. :]
  • I pulled a muscle lifting a piece of luggage in to an over head bin. I was off from work for 10 months - the first 3 I was bedridden. I couldn't stand walk or sit. All I could do is lay on one side.
  • when I was 13 I was playing dodgeball at my neighbors house. School just let out for summer that very day. Well, I saw a baseball on the ground and for some unknown reason I threw it at David who was bigger and in high school and I hit him right in the nuts. This infuriated him and he started to chase me and he caught up to me and tackled me. He broke my left arm at the humorous bone. I was in so much pain that my mother had to give me codeine pills to kill the pain. I spent my entire summer with my left arm in a cast and a sling and missed out on a crucial part of my childhood. That hurt more than the actual injury.
  • I strained my lateral calcaneofibular ligament in my ankle when I tried to sneak up on someone and scare them, but ended up jumping into a pothole and my ankle went over onto its side. It took maybe a month to heal fully, but it wasn't too painful as long as I didn't walk on it. I've never broken anything, so I've been pretty lucky so far. However, when you start rowing you tend to get loads of tears on the skin of your hands and blisters, and until your skin toughens up, showering is agony.
  • I was hit by an IED (improvised Explosive Device) in Iraq. It was the most pain I have ever suffered. It lasted 3 months.
  • I was torched by a guy pouring a cup of gasoline in his carborator while his buddy started the vehicle,it ignighted in his hand and he quikly flicked the cup -o- fire in my direction, landing on my cheek, neck and shoulder, I ran in circles a couple times and got tackled and extinguished buy a friend. The pain lasted for weeks.I think Fire and being eatin are amongst my 10 least favorite ways to go out of this world.
  • Slipped disc lasted 4 weeks should of been 1 week but the nhs messed me around.
  • bruised the cartelidge in my knee, the doctor said it would heal in 2 weeks, it took 6. lol
  • a very badly sprained ankle
  • 2 crushed vertebrae in my back and a broken pelvis.
  • This weekend I was riding my fourwheeler and I took a different path than I am used to. I was flying down this hill, and there was two poles on each side of the path with a metal rope blocking it. I didnt notice it until it was too late. I got clothslined and my head hit the back of the fourwheller and I fell off. I blacked out, so I don't remember exactly what happened. I "woke up" in a puddle of mud with blood running down my neck and arms. Luckily my dad was with me and had his cell phone. I was rushed to the ER in an ambulance. My neck is ok, just has major rope burn and bruised, my knees are extremely bruised,as well as my back, but my head is pretty messed up. I have a two inch long, 1/2 inch deep cut there. The inside of the wound needed stitches and the outside is stapled. It hurts pretty bad. I was lucky I didnt injure my brain or crack my skull, next time I will wear a helmet. Doctor said if the rope would of been thinner I could've been decapitated. I learned my lesson the hard way.
  • Well I cant remember much about it because i was screaming at the time but I was 8 or 9 and on holiday in a french house and there were a couple of bikes. the one i chose to ride was a bit too big for me and when my sister and i were riding around i sort of lost control and flew into a rusty barbed wire fence. It went into my elbow (the inside bend) and my stomach and there was lots of blood. five years later and I still have a 8cm scar on my arm and a line across my belly button from it! And im proud of that!!! Its only one of my 6 scars! Yes i just counted!
  • breaking my ribs
  • The most painful injury was probably when I was casually walking and fell through a floor that was being repaired. All the accidents or serious injuries I've incurred have been during times when I had tons of adrenaline pumping through me, so it didn't hurt at the time at all. This stupid one, that frankly didn't even hurt that much, caught me off guard.
  • I don't really remember this injury as painful (I really can't remember much about it at all sice it was a brain injury and I wasn't even a year old), but I had to have surgeries after it and was on life support for a while. It was from a wreck I was in.
  • appendacitus
  • I herniated a disc in my lower back twice (same one both times) and it was absolute agony.
