Nope, a good majority of movies, especially comedies insult someone or group, whats special about Borat, just the whipping boy of the day.

To some he might be and to others he might seem perfectly harmless. He is just a great comedian whom seems to love the country he was born in alot. And tries to bring his customs here.

Only in that I lost two hours of my life to his movie. I just don't get the hype.

I am a Gypsy. Take a guess. ;) I am going to see if I can dig up what I wrote about Borat on another answer and post it... Here it is: *I have been asked for my tears more times than I can count (AB members can have them at a discount though... I shall make an exception for ABers.) *I am tired of people planning Gypsy hunts in Kazakhstan(or wherever he is from... the character Borat, of course)and Borat style Gypsy hunts in various other places including America. *I am tired of people discussing how best to kill us because of Borat. *I am tired of "Borat was right" when people slam us. *I am tired of the fake Borat accent either spoken or written when they do all of this crap. *Borat "invented" a dance move called the "Gypsy slap" AND I WANT OUR VILLAGE PAID BACK that he screwed. Yes, much of all the hatred he generated towards us is a joke (from his fans) but it does not help us one little bit... it gets the REAL bigots all hopped up against us even more. Also, not all of the hatred from the Borat crowd is a joke.
