I attended Elementary, and Middle School with a Dear friend of mine, who I've heard may have dropped out of school. I go to a different High school than she did, but I have friends @ "Air Academy High School" that let me know what's up.
Alyssa & I met each other in second grade, and we've been good friends. I'm not her boyfriend, just an old friend. Anyway, 1 of my homiez, Chris, told me that he hadn't seen her in class since September (This was early January of 2011 I received the news). He then proceeded to tell me that she may have dropped out.
I am upset by this, because I was going to transfer for my Senior year. What also bothers me is that she DROPPED OUT!! She's a year older than most of us, but we're all in the same grade level. I am planning on tracking her down, & seeing if I can't convince her to come back. Since she's 18, she might be in the phonebook, but if not, how will I find her? What could I say to help her decide to come back?
One thing I would like to say is that it is probably Hell to get hired in this economy, let alone someone who doesn't make it through their college education. If you're gonna leave school, I'd say that you'd better know damn well what you're doing, and you'd better make damn sure whatever you're leaving school for, it had better make your career!
