Coffee is a complex liquid and its effects are still being studied, but the evidence for health risks and benefits seem to almost balance out.
Benefits of Coffee:
:
• May reduce the risk of suicide among women.
• Helps prevent gallstones and symptomatic gallbladder disease in men.
• Contains caffeine-related compounds (theophylline) that can alleviate the symptoms of asthma in some cases.
• Can increase alertness and prolong waking hours.
• May improve short-term recall.
• Promotes the effectiveness of certain migraine drugs.
• May reduce the risk of cirrhosis of the liver among heavy drinkers.
• May postpone muscle fatigue and thus enhance athletic performance and endurance.
• May protect against free radical damage to tissues – one study found that coffee has more antioxidant activity than red wine, green or black tea, or orange juice.
• A cup of coffee can help in the performance of tasks requiring sustained attention, even during low alertness situations such as after lunch, at night or when a person has a cold
• A Harvard study found that men who drank more than six cups of caffeinated coffee a day cut their risk of diabetes by more than half, while women reduced their risk by 30 percent. (Caffeine-free coffee doesn't seem to have the same effect)

absolutely! people around me are much safer when I've had my morning cups of coffee
A new study has also shown that caffine given to premature babies under a doctors care, can increase their ability to obsorb oxygen and help with their breathing in general.
If you really like coffee, then there is really no alternatives but HEALTHY COFFEE!! I have done my research for a while when I heard that traditional coffee can cause Alzheimer more easily.
I would get coffee with reishi or ginseng and antioxidants that help keep people safe from side effects, we all know the benefits of those. Coffee with these benefits usually cost hundreds of dollars because you have to buy it in bulk. But I found a site that lets you buy them by the sample, so if you are not interested, you are not stuck with a whole bunch of coffee.
Do your research!!!
