  • It depends on which state you live in. go to ageofconsent.com also if you get married in some states it will cure the crime.
  • Depends if a comlaint is made? No complaint equals no charges, simple.
  • Both of these answers on here are wrong under this question. Technically, yes. 20 years old can be facing criminal charges because of your age and your pregnancy. He should be charged for sex act with a minor under 17, lewd act upon a child under 16, 1st degree rape, 1st degree statuary rape, unlawful sexual conduct to a minor under 17. Those charges against him can carry him more than 50 years in maximum-security state prison if he lives in New York State, since all charges are felony. Florida is much worst, which can carry up to life in prison without parole. I read a lot of articles about teens being pregnant by adults, and most adults are still behind bars today. If he is very lucky, he have escaped these charges cleanly, since he is clearly sex offender to me. To me, age does not matter because these are just numbers. I really don't support sex laws myself because government should leave individuals alone and individuals should make their own decision on when to have sex and how it be raised by parent. But I have to follow the law, the same way you have to follow the law.
  • I dont know on the law for sure. You didnt' state where you are located at. But i had a friend who was 14 and she was pregnant by a 19 year old. He never got in any trouble. She also lives in missouri. I think it depends on your parents. And how they handle it. I know if he was charged in missouri he could go to prision. And his sentence would be counted on your age and other things. Hope this helps..
  • Well, you need to explain more honey. Are you worried that if its found out he'll go to prison, or did he violate you, and you WANT him to go to prison? If he forced you, he deserves to go to prison, and if he did not force you, he does not deserve to go prison, although he probably could.
  • yes if someone reports it.
