I replaced the fuse on my RCA big screen TV with the wrong fuse. It burned out, but now the TV won't come on with the correct fuse. What's wrong?

  I have a 1999 RCA p60928 61" TV. The power has stopped working. When I try to turn it on there seems to be a thump about 4 times from the speakers but that is it. No picture or sound. The fuse is good. What should I look for next?

  RCA P46729BA big screen, chassis PTK169PCA, serial 337680405. Power supply has died twice & it's out again. Turned it off, won't turn on. Tried other outlets. The guy that fixed before no longer around and no one else will look at it.
