    The 2003 Mazda B3000 pickup came equipped with a 6-cylinder, 3.0 liter engine, the same engine that came in the 2003 Ford Ranger. This engine uses a timing chain, camshaft sprocket and crankshaft sprocket to turn the camshaft and operate the exhaust and intake valves.
