    I believe it's to understand that there are some things that need to be changed on a daily basis.

    Maturity should be seen as the ability to come up with a solution with the use and the sacrifice of the appropriate resources as it becomes needed.

    This is the hallmark of a mature living being: the ability to adapt.

    Getting used to. As in, "He moved to a new house in Canada and his adaptation to the new cold climent was impressive given he's never lived where it snows"....
    no wait, that wasnt a good one...hmmmmmmmm....how bout this one...
    His adaptation to city life was fast considering he's lived in the country all his life.....no...no nO...sigh...i just cant come up with a good exapmle, maybe its time to abanden this answer and find a helpful one. hahahhahah

    to me it means that the fewer choices you have..based on whatever circumstances you are under...the more you learn to cope and make the best of things..the old "make lemonade out of lemons" kind of thinking..

    and believe me..I do this kind of thinking every day..life is too short to complain, whine, moan and groan about how bad things are...many, many, many folks have it FAR worse than little 'ole me..
