I am driving a turbo charged Lancer 1600cc CVT (model cs3). I have heard that the CVT gearbox fails when driven hard. How can I prevent and prolong the lifespan of my gearbox?

  I own a 2002 mitsubishi lancer i just replaced the front enghine mount the enghine still makes a knocking/ rattling sound only when i put it in drive. i checked the other 2 mounts and there good to go! any idea's please help!

  I have an 03 Mitisibishi Lancer, when i am driving at about 5 or less mph the whole car shakes in forward and reverse. I have no idea what this is, because it has never died. It runs fine, does anyone have any idea what might be the cause?
