How much are sundries items typically marked up by food markets and drugstores?

    Did you mean to say sundried items? If so, I do not have an answer for you, because there is not a "typical" mark up percentage. A lot of it (mark up) depends on the type of fruit or vegetable, where the fruit/vegetable is from, if it's in-seaon or off-season, and what company is selling it. The mark up or the gross margin if you will, can be up to 200% or more (but as noted before it depends). Note though that is NOT that the profit or operating margin.
