In the good old days I'd have died younger, been colder, been poorer, not had the opportunities I have now to see the world, etc., etc. No, give me now.
-
If i was old enough to remember them probably not lol.

I don't exactly know what the supposed good old days were like, do you mean when gas was 2 dollars cheaper, and you didn't have to pay 40 dollars to go out to dinner? Or, do you mean with older people who talk about the good old days. Of coarse I miss when I was little (I'm only 24 now) and I didn't have to worry about hardly anything, but I don't know because I had a hard time growing up too, so I guess I prefer my life right now minus expensive gas prices and over inflation. If I was growing with some of the old folks I work with now though, I would of probably liked it back then better. It seems like then men back then were a hell of a lot more polite than a lot of men act now and people had stronger values and respect than they do now.

I certainly miss the days that were good. But I remember the bad days as well and I would never want to relive those. So I'll just be happy where I am today.
-
No, because I never had "good old days". I grew up as part of a dysfunctional family. There was an aura, a feeling of mutual hate between everyone. I am glad my past is gone...
-
No...not really...I had fun back then (25 to 30 yrs. ago) but I am happy it is what it is now.....and I make the most out of each day!
-
yes i do. when i was young and stupid enough to go drag racing with some friends and almost getting hit by another person. and just hanging out with friends and having a good time.
-
Yes I do
-
Yep. Baseball cards were 20 cents a pack. Damn I'm gettin' old.
-
Ah the good old days. Nostalgia just isn't what it used to be
-
I don't remember them being all that good....
-
Yes, memories of old times seem to get sweeter. You seem to forget the problems.
-
Yes, when penny candy really was a penny, orange nesbit or grape nehi's tasted like pop not chemicals. When we played hide & seek till bedtime and you could roam the whole neighborhood, slumber parties camped outside and the biggest fear your parents had was if you were playing truth or dare, spin the bottle w/the neighbor boys.Oh those were the days!
-
I thought these were the good old days!
-
I sure do...mainly because i really did miss them!!
-

All the time. I wish we still had the family values, morals, and lifestyles of the 1950s and early 1960s. It was a good time.
-
Like that old song said......"Those where the Day's my FRIEND, I wish they never end"........
-
I miss the days, and times I had with everyone thats passed away, does that count?
-
These are the days. They always have been.

You should make the most of everyday of your life . Life is too short to be dwelling over your past. Take the memories and cherish them for the past will never return , and put the bad times down to experience. Live life to the fullest as this is your only one ;)
-
I do have fond memories of "the good old days" but I don't really miss them because I am too busy making my present equally good.that way at the end of my life each and every day spent here will have been "the good ole days."

What, jumpers for goal-posts, and jam for tea? When we all left our doors open and kids could go out without fearing the Reaper? No mobile phones, iPods, computer games, just red phone boxes that smelt of urine and 45's that you bought with your pocket money earned by helping Dad clean his old Hillman. And board games. Fresh Air!! Good Grief! Does anyone remember fresh air...? And puddle-splashing... Well I still do that! lol :D
