    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

Mange is a term that refers to three different conditions. However, all are caused by mites, creatures related to spiders. Demodectic mange causes hair loss and severe skin irritation. Cheyletiella mange causes dandruff and mild itching. Sarcoptic mange causes severe itching, hair loss and sometimes oozing sores.
