    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

A scaled score on a standardized test is a conversion of the student's raw score on the test. This allows the test administrators to compare scores between students since the scaled scores compare the results of the students tests over a period of time. The scaled score can compare semester-to-semester test results of the student or from year to year.
