Why is my lawn going to seed before it's even time to cut it?

    Turf will go to seed when it is stressed. The key is to find out what is stressing the plant. It could be just about anything, but it is a good bet that it is weather related. If you have had unusual weather you can blame it on this. If the weather has been favorable and the color of the lawn is off check fertility, soil moisture, and diseases.
