    Great Answer

    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

A grasshopper makes noise by either rubbing his back legs together or rattling his wings to emit a chirping sound. Because of the grasshopper's ability to create a noise that has musical qualities such as tone and rhythm, a grasshopper can be considered a musician.
