When was the last time you helped someone broken down on the side of the road?

half a year ago. pushed his car a couple blocks after parking mine.

About 2 months ago. Traveling north on Meridith Parkway, CT. Everyone is flying and I see this woman parked on the side waving at all cars and no one stops. I stopped about 30 feet ahead of her and backed up my car to hers... I had 2 kids in my car w/ me. Just in case, I left a distance between her and me and told the kids if something happens call 911. This old lady had just purchased the car, did not have a cell. phone and did not know much of anything about the car. I couldn't help her to a full extent but gave her my cell. to call a friend, put the flashers on and told her to wait up on the hill, instead by the road b/c of the cars that were flying by. Bottom line: how could so many cars ahead of me passed by this old lady and not even stop? Sometimes you have to go w/ your gutt feeling.

Actually, I'm not sure I have. I don't know the first thing about car mechanics, and I don't have a cell phone. I've stopped at accidents and helped, though, does that count?
