    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

The State of New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission keeps a permanent record of all violations adding points to your record including DUI offenses. Drivers who are convicted of DUI offenses face harsh penalties and are penalized using a points system. However, the NJMVC website says that points can be deducted "By remaining violation and suspension-free for one year or by taking qualified driving courses."
