Well, they do say that the only way to permanently get rid of vampires is to burn them!

That was pretty much the ONLY thing Stephenie Meyer had right in the Twilight series, too.
Too bad absolutely NONE of the action scenes in the stories actually depicted any such event.
I say "action scenes" tongue-in-cheek: there WERE no action scenes in the books! Just a few buildups to absolutely nothing happening.

Haha, that makes sense. The "horror" in the books didn't actually seem like horror at all for some reason. She sure makes things that would be terrifying to experience look not so terrifying after all.

She seems to take delight in setting up a lot of those non-events! Amazing how many times her characters simply talk their way out of problems.
Or run away from them.
Or avoid them in the first place.
Some vampires!

I'm reading Breaking Dawn right now and I actually have somewhat of a soft spot for it now. Weird. Maybe this will last throughout the entire novel. Maybe not.

Heh! I won't spoil it for you!
by The Chief on November 3rd, 2010
Oh, I'm not worried about spoilers. I already know a lot of what's going to happen. It calms me down. Maybe I'm like Alice in a way. She doesn't seem to like surprises. Well, neither do I.

Heh!
A whole lot of nothing happens!
